I’m Amy—founder of The Female Founder community, a startup advisor, and entrepreneur.
I hold a Master’s degree in Business and Marketing and a Mini MBA. I have spent my entire career in the startup ecosystem, advising at the London School of Emerging Technology and building my own brands from scratch—including the sustainable fashion label KOHR and Mask Your Face, which was featured on This Morning... twice!

Big Veg Blueprint
“I’m a chef… I don’t know how to start a business”

Christina is an accomplished vegan chef, recipe writer for Mob Kitchen, and recipe tester for Ottolenghi and has an incredible personal brand working with various brands.
Christina has a love for teaching, and wanted to take her audience on a deep dive into cooking. Tired of fighting social media algorithms, Christina wanted to build a stable, sustainable platform that she truly owned. She was in the middle of launching her online cooking school, "Big Veg Blueprint," when she sought out coaching for operational support to help her shift from chef to business owner.

While Christina had a strong following, transitioning a pre-recorded, 6-week course into a long-term business model was a major hurdle. Without a clear customer journey, there was a risk of it being a one-off launch rather than a steady income stream.
Operationally, Christina was drowning in moving parts. Juggling her work with Ottolenghi, brand partnerships, and the launch left her incredibly busy, struggling to prioritise short-term tasks against her long-term goals.

Christina’s launch of the Big Veg Blueprint was an incredible success, with the coaching frameworks driving both high engagement and strong profitability.
We structured the school around two capped student cohorts per year, which built natural hype and created a waiting list for future rounds. A more advanced course is also in the pipeline to funnel and re-engage past students.
To bring the community to life, we launched a pre-course WhatsApp group, released lessons weekly so students could learn together, and included weekly group calls with Christina for a premium, VIP feel.
Christina completely made back her initial investment and generated an incredible profit from her very first cohort.
Ellie Stitches
“I don’t want to loose my vision whilst building a brand again”

Eleanor, the founder of Ellie Stitches, has been a business owner for the last 10 years and has spent the best part of that building sustainable fashion brand Wild Strings.
After choosing to close that chapter, she’s spent the last three years working as a freelance seamstress for various brands.
While she loved the craft, she realised she wants to shift to working 1:1 with clients to reimagine their favourite garments and create bespoke, meaningful clothing.

The transition wasn't completely straightforward. While running her previous brand, Eleanor grew frustrated with the pressure to constantly show up online in unauthentic ways, and the ethics of selling "new" clothes in an oversaturated world.
The real hurdle was moving from freelance back to business ownership without falling into those same exhausting traps. She needed to figure out how to build a brand that felt like a natural extension of herself, her values, and her lifestyle.

We needed to work on how she actually positions herself in this industry, what her offering was and most importantly what she doesn’t offer! We also worked on pricing, by creating a formula so it removed all of the subjectiveness out of pricing.
This is where our coaching programme made a pivotal difference. Instead of Eleanor trying to figure it out through trial and error, we used our sessions to establish a clear, intentional strategy. We focused on two areas:
